As part of a hands-on media production exercise in graduate school at the University of Memphis, I participated in a creative challenge to produce a stop-motion animation video in just 30 minutes, using only the items we had on us. With no pre-planning and minimal resources, the project pushed us to think quickly, problem-solve visually, and embrace the playful, experimental nature of animation.
The final result was a short, imaginative sequence that blended storytelling with improvisation—proof that compelling media doesn’t always need big budgets, just big ideas and a bit of ingenuity.
